Nitty Gritty 5K

Where else can you run a race and then enjoy all the grits you can eat? Only at the Nitty Gritty 5K. The race will begin and end on the campus of the Willis Bradford Branch of the Prattville YMCA (972 McQueen Smith Rd S ). The race path will take you through the Silver Hills neighborhood in east Prattville. A water station will be located at the half way point as well as the finish line. Following the race you are encouraged to visit the hospitality area. Not a fast runner? That's ok! Come in your most fun costume to run in the Nitty Gritty 5K and you could win the first ever BEST DRESSED AWARD! You are also invited to enjoy all the grits you can eat at the Gipson’s Tires Great Grits Cookoff. Package pick up for the racers will be Friday October 18th from 4:30pm until 6:30pm at the Willis Bradford Branch. For more information, contact June Dorough @ 334-558-1367

T Shirts will be guaranteed for anyone registering by October 6th. Any one that registers on October 7th or later we will do our best to accommodate your size but we can not make any guarantee.
